The Founders Golf Tournament

The Founders Golf Tournament is our signature event that raises scholarship funds for qualified Central Florida high school seniors interested in pursuing a post-secondary education.  In partnership with Chi Tau Chapter, the scholarships are awarded annually during a banquet hosted by the chapter's Scholarship Committee. ​

Golf Tournament History

The Friendship Foundation, Inc. was initially established by members of Chi Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. to provide college scholarships for graduating high school seniors in Central Florida. Although we have since expanded our reach with other community and youth-related initiatives, the annual golf tournament still serves as our signature event.  As such, the success of our organization and, specifically, our scholarship allotment depend on the generosity of tournament participants through corporate and individual sponsorships.

The scholarships, awarded annually during a banquet hosted by Chi Tau's Scholarship Committee, represent our commitment to young men and women preparing to make a significant impact in the world.  Over the years, our recipients have matriculated and graduated from some of the country's finest institutions [see chart]. We are proud of our partnership with Chi Tau Chapter and look forward to continuing to support the aspirations of students throughout our community!
